I was looking to buy a new bottle of Scotch whisky and posed the question, “What’s your favorite?” Here are the answers that everyone submitted. Hope you find a new, enjoyable drink. And thanks for your help.

I suggest you organize a tasting for the folks who submitted suggestions. Perhaps Binnys would subsidize, based on the focused demographic (social networking mavens with a proven penchant for single-malts).
Ah, it’s Redbreast Irish whiskey, not “bread.” Here’s a review for anyone curious: http://www.whiskymag.com/whisky/brand/redbreast/whisky218.html
Ooops, sorry about that, Matt. Just corrected it…
B.A.: Good idea. If they weren’t agreeable, it would be fun to have a potluck tasting party, where everyone brought a bottle.
I’m in! I might even be persuaded to try making Scotch Eggs as a food pairing, so there’s less crashing on the drive home.
Ohhh… this sounds good! If I’d actually followed the rules, I would’ve voted for Lagavulin – maybe that’ll be my b-day present to myself this year since I just killed my Laphroaig.
